In 1952, a brand spanking new silver bullet diner was delivered to a small community in Upstate New York. This Mountainview Diner, built in Singac, New Jersey, Model No. 330, was slated to be “the most modern kitchen in all of upstate”. The residents of Herkimer watched in amazement as the diner was delivered on a flatbed truck and installed right along Main Street. For 65 years the Empire Diner has been the hub of the community and has held a special place in the hearts of many. The menu does have classics such as Pizza's, Sandwiches, chips and dips. We have a full service bar for those who prefer martinis, margaritas, and other non frozen drinks. Watch the world go by on Westgate's premier patio as you enjoy our Happy Hour, Every day 4pm - 7pm, Reverse Happy Hour Sunday - Thursday from 9pm-11pm and Happy Hour all day on Tuesday.
