Back in January 1999, we vacationed in Arizona at my brother's house in Arrowhead. Anthony and Tina told us the area was starving for a "family" owned Pizzeria where families can enjoy the casual atmosphere and great back east style Italian food at a good price. On the airplane ride back to frigid, snowy, icy, Cape Cod, Judy and I decided to put our pizzeria up for sale and move ourselves and our son Robert to the Valley of the Sun. Just months ago you were hard-pressed to find someone who knew what cake pops were, let alone companies making them. Now, they are “popping” up in every bakeshop, supermarket, and coffee house.
