We’re proud of a lot of things, but we’re most proud of the community that we get to experience each and every day in and around our shop. And we certainly didn’t build this community – it was here in the surrounding neighborhoods and schools long before we broke ground. Rather, we saw an opportunity to serve and host this thriving community and concluded that a great coffee shop would be a great way to do this. At Island Teriyaki, we focus on finest teriyaki rice bowl well and served quickly. We served fast (timely) food but not fast (junk) food. Our meat was trimmed and marinated in own kitchen, not in factory. We grilled meat everyday and all day, not just heated. The idea of Booty's was hatched way back in 1985 by Andy LiButti while he was attending Florida International University. He wanted to create a place that had the Best Wings Anywhere, lots of Sports Action, and a Super Friendly staff.
