Established in 1970. The original owner of Nino's Pizzeria opened up this location roughly 30 years ago. Two additional locations were opened, one of which still exists on 59th Ave and Peoria. The original owner sold the 59th ave and 99th ave locations as separate business. So, although they share the common name of "Nino's Pizza" the restaurants are no longer associated with one another on a business level. The 99th ave and Olive location has only switched hands two times. Once purchased from the original owner by a woman known as Gail who, after 19 yrs of ownership sold the business to it's current owner Chirssy. Chirssy has been owner/operator of Nino's for over 7 years (as of 2013). People come from all over the west valley to visit this famous restaurant. Some tell stories about coming in during their child hood and revisiting recently. Others have been coming in consistently for over 15 years. Valley Bar is located in a notable downtown building constructed in 1949 on Central Avenue just north of Adams which was once the home of The Hub art galleries, Sub Cultural Arts Center (where Sound Garden, Green Day, and Bad Brains played their stage), famed Bickoff’s Deli and the Theater Triad. Our interior decor by Patch & Clark Design is done up in a color palette full of soft yellows, cool greys, and bright whites which serves to remind you that this is sunlit Arizona.
