We started on November 11, 2015, with high hopes that people will give us a chance on trying our food. Now almost a year and a half later we have gained many faithful customers and continue to see new faces on a weekly basis. In 1952, a brand spanking new silver bullet diner was delivered to a small community in Upstate New York. This Mountainview Diner, built in Singac, New Jersey, Model No. 330, was slated to be “the most modern kitchen in all of upstate”. The residents of Herkimer watched in amazement as the diner was delivered on a flatbed truck and installed right along Main Street. For 65 years the Empire Diner has been the hub of the community and has held a special place in the hearts of many.
