To find the perfect recipe, you first need the perfect ingredients. And that's what our founders Dena Tripp and Debbie Shwetz were for each other. In 1997, they joined forces, or better yet kitchens, to help make cakes to entertain their friends. The cakes they made were delicious, unlike anything anyone had tasted. As a result, their friends and family asked them to entertain more and more. They quickly realized this side project of theirs could be something more. We’re even proud of the matte black Not Neutral mugs that we serve our drinks in. But anyone could build something nice, serve something delicious, or buy some neat drinkware. We’re proud of a lot of things, but we’re most proud of the community that we get to experience each and every day in and around our shop. And we certainly didn’t build this community – it was here in the surrounding neighborhoods and schools long before we broke ground. Rather, we saw an opportunity to serve and host this thriving community and concluded that a great coffee shop would be a great way to do this. Our doors opened in August 2019, and we haven’t looked back since. Community matters to us, and that’s exactly what pushes us to serve the best coffee with the best service. We aim to make the world of coffee simple, welcoming, and approachable for anyone who walks in through our doors (or through our wall – you’ll have to come to check it out!). Wild Horse West is located approximately three miles from Lake Pleasant on the south east corner of Carefree Hwy and Lake Pleasant RD (99th Ave). You can't miss it! Worth the drive and fun for the whole family. We have a full bar, inside and outside dinning, big screen TV, and juke box. Also come visit our general store with bait, tackle, beer, soda, snacks and supplies for the lake. Centrally located in a heaven of outdoor activity, ATV hotspots, glider rides, fishing and boating at Lake Pleasant. Can't stay very long? Call us to place a carry out order!
