Pepe’s Restaurants have continuously served the Southland with fine quality Mexican food. Pepe’s was founded in 1962 by three brothers, Joe, Tony and Fred. Unable to find steady business at first, the location was changed several times before finally settling in Alhambra in 1962, where the name was changed permanently to “Pepe’s.” During these early years, the brothers often relied on the help of family members to keep the business growing. In 1962, their nephew “Pepe” was sent to fight in Vietnam. This is when Tony, out of love for his nephew, renamed the restaurant after him, Pepe's. Straight from Bourbon Street in New Orleans, Fat Tuesday is the perfect place to go for fun in Glendale. At Westgate, we are convenient to offices, Coyote stadium and the outlet mall. We have been serving great drinks, great food and great fun in a colorful, upbeat atmosphere. Our specialties are our Fat Tuesday Frozen Daiquiris and authentic New Orleans style food. The menu does have classics such as Pizza's, Sandwiches, chips and dips. We have a full service bar for those who prefer martinis, margaritas, and other non frozen drinks. Get away from the office for lunch and, for late night, there is usually a party going on. Watch the world go by on Westgate's premier patio as you enjoy our Happy Hour, Every day 4pm - 7pm, Reverse Happy Hour Sunday - Thursday from 9pm-11pm and Happy Hour all day on Tuesday.
